Adetoyese (‘Toye) Abioye is a highly motivated, self-directed individual with over 15 years’ experience in client relationship management, sales, business development, facilitation and leadership development. He is passionate about the socio-economic development of persons with disabilities.
‘Toye’s excellent communication, administrative, documentation and social media skills have found expression in in-class facilitation, coaching and mentoring in Southern, East and West Africa.
He has relevant business experience working with blue-chip companies across the African continent. He has participated in, and presented at presented at events of the Johannesburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI), The Southern Africa- German Chamber of Commerce. He regularly facilitated business and trade delegations with the Department of Trade and Industry, South Africa; led business delegations from South Africa to the Lekki Free Trade Zone, Lagos, Nigeria.
‘Toye’s excellent presentation and interpersonal skills are utilized in discussing and negotiating at all levels of business. This includes 12 months’ experience as co-producer, host and presenter of the African Diaspora TV (ADTV) show on DSTV, cable TV in South Africa.
He is an accredited facilitator, executive coach and management consultant with qualifications in Human and Social Studies- International Relations, African Politics, International law and Diplomacy and Computer Sciences.
‘Toye is currently working towards qualification in Applied Business Management at the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Manitoba. He is a member of the Southern Africa- Canada Chamber of Commerce (SACANCHAM), with whom The Canada-Africa Chamber of Business enjoys a Memorandum of Understanding.
