Africa Opportunity Breakfast welcomes policy makers and industry leaders in Ottawa

Chamber members and guests in Ottawa enjoyed cutting-edge forecasts and projections for African markets at the Africa Opportunity Breakfast, with keynote speaker and expert Mukani Moyo of McKinsey, held on March 13, 2020 at the Rideau Club.

While the presentation delivered to members contains proprietary data and projections, McKinsey’s publicly available Africa Reports are here and highly recommended. The firm’s latest on COVID-19 is also available.

Global Affairs Canada's Director General for Pan African Affairs, Paula Caldwell-St Onge opened the event with remarks congratulating The Canada-Africa Chamber of Business for its work this year alone on-the-ground in four African markets.

In conclusion, Chamber President Garreth Bloor also highlighted the Business Council on Canada’s recent Africa report, which has been shared with the country’s top 150 CEOs. it is available for download.

The Business Council of Canada and The Canada-Africa Chamber of Business will be announcing plans soon for a joint-event exploring the insights, implications and opportunities arising from the report.
