Past Chamber speakers at the annual Acton University conference include Special Envoy to the African Union, Dr. Sebastian Spio-Garbrah, as well as Vice President Susan Namulindwa. This year Dr. Denis Foretia, Co-Chair of the Denis & Lenora Foretia Foundation and Executive Chairman of the Nkafu Policy Institute, a leading Cameroonian think tank, will be addressing over a thousand delegates in attendance.
In May last year the Chamber hosted the first-ever Canada-US Forum on Africa in Washington, DC opened by Michigan Congressman, Representative John Moolenaar and joined with opening remarks from Canada's former Minister of Export Promotion, International Trade and Economic Development, Hon.
