Poverty, Inc: Special Screening & Panel Discussion

The award-winning documentary Poverty, Inc. provoked widespread debate, taking on tough questions around development practices in some African markets and what it has has meant for those who remain economically excluded.

We eagerly welcomed members and friends from across Canada and African countries for an exclusive screening and panel discussion, featuring:

  • Michael Miller, Producer of Poverty, Inc.
  • Susan Namulindwa, Business Owner and Vice President, The Canada-Africa Chamber of Business
  • Adedayo Thomas, Executive Director for Film in Nigeria, appointed by President Buhari
