The Réseau Action TI in collaboration with Global Affairs Canada, the School of Management Sciences of the Université du Québec à Montréal, Contacts Monde, the Association African Digital Opportunity, Tunisie Afrique Export, GOTIC Ivory Coast, OPTIC Senegal, Canada Africa Business Council, SITIC Africa, SITIC Africa Canada are pleased to invite you to come and discover an activity to raise awareness about the African digital opportunity with 2 separate events.
A unique opportunity for collaborative, strategic and innovative projects in the IT sector between Canada & Africa.
The first event is webinar dedicated to raise awareness of Canadian companies and industry associations about what is being done in the IT sectors on the African continent and how it can be beneficial and profitable for businesses on both continents. The webinar is mainly in French with English translation. Q&A will be in French & English.
The second component is a series of B2B meetings organized virtually to facilitate exchanges between companies that are truly capable and interested in setting up a strategic partnership and/or relocating part of their operations from Africa to Canada and vice versa.
These activities will take place on January 19 and 26 in preparation of a Canadian trade delegation to the Salon des Technologies de l'Information et des Communications(www.siticafrica.com)in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, at the end of February 2022. It will be followed by two invitations to participate in similar activities in Canada, in May (DATAVORE) and November (JIQ) 2022.

Among the guests who will be present at the round table, we will find representations from Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal and Tunisia, Global Affairs Canada, Export Development Canada.
During the round table and as a follow-up to the presentation of the various stakeholder representatives, companies on both sides of the ocean will be able to ask specific questions about the opportunities presented by the executive directors of the sector associations present; in particular the Réseau Action TI for Quebec, UTICA for Tunisia, OPTIC for Senegal and GOTIC for Côte d'Ivoire.
INFORMATION ABOUT B2B MEETINGS

At the very end of the round table, companies present online will be invited to register for the B2B meetings with the selected partners of their choice. The B2B event via Swapcard will take place the following week to allow a possible first exchange. Companies will be introduced by email prior to the event.
The B2B meetings will be designed at the request of companies, on January 26, 2022, thus allowing greater solicitation.
Canadian companies will be invited to discuss, with African enterprises mainly from Senegal, Tunisia and Côte d'Ivoire, among others, in the fields of digital transformation, software engineering, ERP, integrated management, software publishing, credit service (API), fintech and E-Merchant.
Take advantage of these meetings to access exceptional partnership offers, calls for tenders (World Bank, EU, African Development Bank, USAID,etc.), consulting, new markets access, purchases of license and investments (Africa to Canada and vice versa).
