Africa Day celebrations in Ottawa highlight growing Canadian interest

It has been a busy few weeks at The Canada-Africa Chamber of Business. Around 100 members of the diplomatic corps, government and business gathered in Ottawa to celebrate Canada Day on 22 May 2019. Thank you to Gowlings for hosting us and the many members of the board who joined us in Ottawa, including our Chair, Sebastian Spio-Garbrah, Wayne Floreani and Walter McLean.

In Ottawa we were also were privileged to engage the Office of Minister Chrystia Freeland, the leadership at Global Affairs Canada, numerous Ambassadors, the Africa Study Group and the Macdonald-Laurier Institute, among others.
