On the occasion of the Africa Prosperity Dialogues 2026 in Accra, The Canada-Africa Chamber of Business is pleased to announce a meeting for members in attendance with Dr. Sebastian Spio-Garbrah, the Chamber's Special Envoy to the African Continental Free Trade Area Secretariat in Accra.
The Chamber's strategic MoU with the Africa Prosperity Network (APN) was signed and witnessed at the Canadian Embassy in Côte d'Ivoire (above) during the Official Canadian Reception on the eve of the most recent Africa CEO Forum.
We look forward to supporting members attending this year's African Prosperity Dialogues 2026 taking place in Ghana.
The strategic Memorandum of Understanding with APN established a framework for collaboration, event reciprocity, and new joint initiatives to accelerate Canada-Africa trade and investment. Read the Media Release
Ghana is a top bilateral trading partner in Sub-Saharan Africa for Canadian companies and "key strategic economic partner" according to the Government of Canada: "Ghana's strategic position in West Africa further amplifies its value as a gateway to broader African markets, with expanding long-term prospects driven by the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), and Ghana’s influential role within multilateral organizations."
