The Canada-Africa Chamber of Business and the Chambre de Commerce Canada Côte d'Ivoire (CCCACI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on August 6, 2026, on the occasion of Canada's Minister of Foreign Affairs Anita Anand's high-level visit to Côte d'Ivoire - opening a new chapter in Canada-Côte d'Ivoire trade and investment ties.
The MoU establishes frameworks for collaboration, event reciprocity and joint business initiatives, and extends Canada-Africa Chamber membership benefits to CCCACI. It strengthens economic ties between Canada and Côte d'Ivoire, supporting Canada's trade diversification and Africa Strategy. Bilateral trade between the two countries reached a record Can$1.2 billion in 2025.
