Hon. Rachel Bendayan (MP) Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Small Business, Export Promotion and International Trade

Rachel Bendayan was first elected as the Member of Parliament for Outremont in February 2019.Over a period of 10 years, Ms. Bendayan built a successful legal practice at Norton Rose Fulbright in the fields of litigation and international arbitration, specializing in international trade law. Ms. Bendayan also taught at the Université de Montréal’s Faculty of Law. She later served as Chief of Staff to the federal Minister of Small Business and Tourism. Mother to a toddler and deeply engaged in her community, Ms. Bendayan has a strong connection to the families she represents in the Montréal neighbourhoods of Outremont, Mile End, and Côte-des-Neiges.

Rachel Bendayan a été élue pour la première fois députée d’Outremont en février 2019.Durant près de 10 ans, Mme Bendayan était avocate en litige et arbitrage international au sein du cabinet Norton Rose Fulbright, se spécialisant dans le droit commercial international. Mme Bendayan a également enseigné à la Faculté de droit de l’Université de Montréal. Par la suite, elle a occupé le poste de chef de cabinet auprès de la ministre de la Petite Entreprise et du Tourisme. Mère d’une petite fille de deux ans et très impliquée dans sa communauté, Mme. Bendayan entretient des liens étroits avec les familles qu’elle représente dans les quartiers montréalais d’Outremont, du Mile End et de Côte-des-Neiges.
