Congratulating Prime Minister Sam Matekane

The Canada-Africa Chamber of Business is proud of the Kingdom of Lesotho's representation in The Canada-Africa Chamber of Business.

In the capital of Maseru in October 2022, we were privileged to meet with Prime Minister Sam Matekane, who previously attended Africa Accelerating 2019.  The meeting was attended by representatives from the local business community.

Chamber President Garreth Bloor, who is a Senior Development Associate at the Fraser Institute, hands over a copy of the latest Economic Freedom of the World Report - which served as the keynote presentation during the Africa Accelerating 2022 summit.

In 2019 the now Prime Minister was recognized by the Canada-Africa Chamber for his exceptional business leadership and contributions as an entrepreneur to African markets.

Among those from Lesotho who've participated in our Canada-Africa events, we applaud the 17 delegates who have gone on to serve in the country's Parliament, in addition to business leaders driving trade and investment on a daily basis.
