Víctor B.L.Tivane is a Mozambican Local Content and Investment Expert with more than 15 years’ experience in developing Indigenous Companies (Matching Grant Schemes, Linkages and Industrial Parks) and Foreign Direct Investment Promotion for the Country.
Currently is Director at National Hydrocarbon Corporation (ENH) at the Local Content Division. As the Director of this Division, the main role is to lead and coordinate the company policy operationalization regarding the indigenous companies’ involvement within the O&G sector and acceleration of skill and technology transfer.
The last position was a Consultant at the World Bank Competitiveness and Private Sector Development Project for Mozambique (PACDE).
As a Consultant at the Competitiveness and Private Sector Development Project for Mozambique (PACDE), he acts as Specialist of Matching Grant Schemes, in order to enhance the competitiveness of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
Víctor Tivane has worked at the Investment Promotion Centre, in the preparation and implementation of Industrial Parks in Mozambique and advisor for foreign and domestic firms, in matters of investment; as adviser during the implementation of Aluminium Smelter (MOZAL); and as the Manager of the Linkages Program Office at the World Bank Enterprise Development Project using tools such as Matching Grant Schemes and Supplier Development Program.
He also published a book on bottled water, aimed at developing the bottled water enterprises and a handbook with the purpose of disseminating entrepreneurship culture in the rural areas.
