The Chamber was once again pleased to be available to assist our members attending the Annual Investing in African Mining Indaba, with both meetings and access to events.
Chamber President Garreth Bloor addressed the High Commissioner's Official Reception on Sunday 8 February, recognizing our sponsoring members in attendance and kicking off another busy week in South Africa.

Chamber members participated in a number of events during the Mining Indaba, including InvestAfrica's Mining Series, which brought together major voices in natural resource development.

Over the years we've been delighted to welcome a number of major supporters, including headline sponsor, Elephant Trade-Services DRC, as well as major sponsors Hatch, B2Gold, Cypher Environmental and Lambano Full Services.
Discussions also focused on a number of upcoming programs across the continent.

Our program each year is always an opportunity for PDAC delegates to meet the Chamber and MineAfrica Inc, in preparation for our Africa program in Toronto: ‘’The largest African mining event in North America provides you with an unparalleled opportunity to promote your country, company, African project, product or services to a senior-level, African-focused audience,’ said Garreth Bloor, President of The Canada-Africa Chamber of Business, during remarks to the Official Canadian Reception.

‘’For over 25 years, Wayne Floreani as co-founder and current President of MineAfrica Inc has led this initiative as a major supporter of The Canada-Africa Chamber of Business’’ added Bloor.
"We look forward to welcoming attendees to the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) Convention and Trade Show. Once again, we are pleased to again offer you a number of exciting participation options at the biggest mining investment show.’’
The opportunities include:
- Custom booth space in the MineAfrica pavilion at the PDAC Trade Show
- Participation in the biggest African mining event in North America
