Adam Camenzuli, CFA, CBV, CAIA, is an Africa-based Canadian finance and international trade professional. He holds an International BBA from the Schulich School of Business, York University, where he was a Dr. Wilson A. Head Scholar. Adam is also a CFA Charterholder, Chartered Business Valuator (CBV), and CAIA Charterholder, with advanced studies in Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies from Stanford University.
Adam has made significant contributions to Africa’s business landscape, most recently as the Chief Financial Officer of Kasha, a leading e-commerce platform in Rwanda, Kenya and South Africa, where he was instrumental in securing $20+ million in investment. He also founded an award-winning social enterprise in Tanzania, which delivered solar energy solutions to over 20,000 people and is launching Nyumba, an affordable housing enterprise. In addition, Adam runs a 50-acre farm in Malawi with over 40,000 chili plants, where he employs over 30 people from the local community.
Adam is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (UK), a Paul Harris Fellow (Rotary), a Laureate Global Fellow (USA) and a UN Global Accelerator. He holds a US patent and is a published author in the Social Enterprise Journal (UK). He has been featured in Forbes Africa, CBC, The Globe and Mail, and CNN. Adam has language skills in Swahili, Spanish, German, French and Chichewa.
