After hosting the African Union's Commissioner for Economic Development, Trade, Industry and Mining, H.E. Albert M. Muchanga, in Ottawa last year, we were delighted to once again host His Excellency this year, in downtown Toronto last week.
Members and guests were invited to join Hon. Mary Ng, Minister of Export Promotion, International Trade and Economic Development, as well as fellow Chamber members, from a diverse range of sectors.
The program commenced with welcome remarks from Todd Burns, CEO of Cypher Environmental followed by Honourable Mary Ng and His Excellency, Albert Muchanga.
A private bilateral for members took place earlier in the day with H.E. Muchanga, chaired by the Chamber President, attended by Global Affairs Canada. Outcomes of the bilateral will be addressed on Day 3 of our Africa Accelerating program from 18 to 20 November 2024 in Ottawa and Toronto.
