Summary of the conference
Africa Accelerating is the headline conference of the year and the top 3-day program, which takes place every October. This year it takes place from 10 to 12 October 2023 in Toronto, welcoming Heads of Government, companies, CEOs and other leaders, from rising entrepreneurial stars to leading public policy thinkers. Africa Accelerating is the annual highly in our nearly 30-year history as an organization committed to accelerating trade and investment with Canada, through world-class networking and information- sharing events.
All our events include: invitations on behalf of sponsors to our own database of over 12 500, invitations to all our attendees at our 2023 PDAC programming and promotion through 6ix.com, which connects a network of thousands of investors to opportunities in mining (membership of 6ix is $120 000 per annum, which includes annual event – the Chamber is pleased to undertake our event with 6ix.com as a major benefit sponsors).
Sponsorship opportunities at $25 000 or above includes membership of the Chamber, which is discounted from the value of sponsorship purchased.
E.g. For a $50 000 sponsorship package, membership of $5000 is paid upfront to secure membership and all member benefits listed in the attachment, including media coverage and promotion that begins immediately. The balance of the $45 000 (sponsorship of the conference) is then due to confirm the sponsor’s place on the program.
Though sponsorship is payable before the event, it can be done after a visa is in-hand. We can provide a dedicated session on the visa application process to members and potential sponsors with a Government of Canada representative. The Government (Global Affairs Canada) has served as a partner in events and the Prime Minister of Canada has in recent years opened all Africa Accelerating conferences.
