I am pleased to offer greetings to all participants attending the 3rd Annual Ethiopia-Canada Business and Investment Forum. In particular, I wish to extend a warm welcome to Foreign Affairs Minister Dr. Workeneh and the rest of the visiting delegation from Ethiopia.
This outstanding event promotes opportunities for international collaboration between Ethiopian and Canadian business professionals.
Ontario continues to provide opportunities in a range of sectors including advanced manufacturing, infrastructure, tourism and agri-business. Of course, our greatest competitive advantage lies in the skills and talents of our people — including a prosperous and thriving Ethiopian-Canadian community.
As Ontario’s Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, I recognize the importance of helping entrepreneurs and business leaders make the connections they need to succeed in both domestic and global markets.
