Membership: Terms and Conditions (to be accepted by applicants and members)

I accept that membership of The Canada-Africa Chamber of Business is by application and that, subject to my membership application being approved, I will be required to abide by the rules governing The Canada-Africa Chamber of Business, as it relates to all members, under the laws of Ontario, Canada.

Furthermore, I accept I will receive the following member benefits, available on accepting these Terms and Conditions, but subject to approval of my membership application:

  • Three complimentary guests (five for Corporate Members over 50 Employees) for ALL Chamber events each year, which welcome CEOs, Heads of State and other key leaders in trade and investment.
  • Dedicated media service through APO Group. We work with you on media to reach hundreds of press outlets, generating a minimum of $2 million in PR value per media release - measured in reports provided to each member. Coverage has included CNBC, Yahoo Finance and the Globe and Mail.
  • Free listing of member events and news of interest to fellow members on the Chamber website, as well as to over 12 500 members in our database via our newsletter - showcasing and recognizing your work in Canada-Africa trade and investment. Industries include - but are not limited to - mining, energy, infrastructure, agriculture, education, financing, technological innovation and consulting.
  • Complimentary 6ix access for meetings and events featuring your company, on a platform that provides all-in-one investor relations software & managed services solution - allowing you to reach large audiences, including investors. 6ix retails at $120 000 per year, but is generously included in Chamber membership.
  • Membership runs for one year from the date you joined and can be renewed.
  • Our additional event packages for meetings and conferences are available to members, billed in addition to membership.

I hereby accept that any additional services are to be provided as written requests and are both billable and on offer, subject to the available capacity at the Chamber to deliver on the additional requested services. Any requested services are available exclusively  to Chamber members.

Membership of the Chamber commences on receipt of payment for the invoice issued directly to the prospective member, once he or she is approved for membership. We cannot issue invoices to third parties for payment.

For companies under 5 employees, the Chamber -  by discretion - will be pleased to consider a special price of $2500 for full member benefits.
We do not receive government grant funding and thank our generous supporters for ensuring we can deliver our mission - as a proudly independent Not-for-Profit organization, dedicated to accelerating trade and investment through world-class networking and information-sharing events.
Our membership rates are provided thanks to the generous support of several existing private sector members who sponsor the Chamber.
