[Recording] Tanzania Business and Investment Session
The Tanzania Business and Investment Session showcased opportunities in an exciting market, with a GDP projected to grow 4.1% this year and by 5.8% in 2022, according to the African Development Bank.
On Monday 10 May 2021 we welcomed VIP speakers, including Hon. Geoffrey Mwambe, Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office - responsible for investments - and Mr. Edwin Rutageruka, Director General of the Tanzania Trade Development Authority.
Tanzania provides opportunities in manufacturing, agriculture, mining and metals, tourism, services, economic zones, fisheries, livestock, economic infrastructure, energy, real estate, oil and gas, finance. telecommunications and broadcasting.
Leaders from the private sector in both Tanzania and Canada offered remarks, preceded by a high-level official welcome from His Excellency Dr. Mpoki Ulisubisya, the High Commissioner of the United Republic of Tanzania to Canada.
