The Canada-Africa Chamber meets Nigeria’s Bank of Industry leadership in Ottawa

Last month we were privileged to meet the Bank of Industry, during a visit of the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Mr. Olukayode Pitan. Following opening remarks by His Excellency, High Commissioner Adeyinka Asekun, the discussion at the Chamber’s Ottawa office focused on the role of the bank and the opportunities for collaboration. The meeting welcomed members of the Bank’s leadership.

‘’These engagements reflect the vital role of Nigeria as a continental leader, underpinned by its major private sector-led institutions,’’ said Garreth Bloor.

‘’The Bank of Industry has financed over 6000 businesses across Nigeria, of all sizes, serving as the country's foremost Development Finance Institution.''

The engagement formed took place ahead of a broader visit to meet members in Ottawa.
