Global Affairs Canada in collaboration with the Canada-Africa Chamber of Business hosted the first virtual trade mission to Africa for Canadian women entrepreneurs from February 21st to 24th, 2022. We are pleased that Honourable Mary Ng, Minister of International Trade, Export Promotion, Small Business and Economic Development opened the trade mission along with senior Canadian and foreign officials on February 21st , 2022.
Free of charge this virtual mission brought together a delegation of 25 Canadian women-owned and -operated companies to network and discuss business opportunities with decision-makers and government officials from Botswana, Senegal, South Africa and Côte d'Ivoire, primarily in the renewable energy and information and communications technology sectors.
