On Friday 3 February we were delighted to welcome Trade Commissioners and Canadian and African companies for an evening of networking and engagement on business matchmaking. Keynote remarks by Karima-Catherine Goundiam - Founder and CEO, B2BeeMatch - formed the basis of interactive discussions, led by KC and moderated by Chamber President Garreth Bloor.
Keynote Remarks: Karima-Catherine (KC) Goundiam is the founder and CEO of two thriving companies. Her company B2BeeMatch is an algorithm-based matchmaking platform for businesses all over the world. B2Beematch has member companies from over 75 countries and 150 industries. B2BeeMatch also offers Enterprise features. B2BeeMatch has established several significant partnerships, for example with the Ontario Aerospace Council (OAC) and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). KC’s other company is Red Dot Digital, a transformation firm that builds strategic digital and technology solutions for clients across multiple industries.
KC served as a private sector panelist at the high-level Ministerial session of our 3-day forum in Johannesburg, during the Chamber's recent Africa Accelerating conference - opened by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau with keynote welcome remarks by South African President Cyril Ramaphosa.
