We are delighted to announce Africa Accelerating 2024 will take place in Canada's Ottawa Capital Region, with our plenary venue in Gatineau, Quebec - followed by a program in Toronto.
Welcoming delegates to one of the country's most historic and beautiful venues - ten minutes from the heart of Ottawa - our program will include Parliamentary and related site visits to key venues, B2B meetings for members and an optional add-on: our special 'Captains of Industry' program in downtown Toronto, on Thursday 24 and Friday 25 October 2024, with a preceding reception on Wednesday 23 October.
The 2024 conference program affords delegates an excellent week in Canada. Three days in the Capital Region with decision-makers, followed by 2 days of additional business engagements in the global commercial capital of Toronto.

On the historic occasion of the Chamber's 30th Anniversary, our 2024 three-day Ottawa Capital Region program will reflect on the past three decades and the next 30 years to come.
Africa Accelerating in Ottawa will conclude at lunchtime on Wednesday 23 October, followed the Toronto welcome reception and two additional days in Toronto, a convenient global airline hub for onward return connections.
Our 2023 Toronto program this year follows the format of 3 morning programs. In 2024, the three day program combines two morning programs into a full day on Thursday - to accommodate those attending the Special 30-Year Anniversary Ottawa program.
Delegates attending both the Ottawa and Toronto programs will be able to depart on Wednesday afternoon - to arrive in time for the welcome reception in Toronto that lasts from Wednesday 23 October to Friday 25 October 2023.
Deliberations will include the new Canada Africa Economic Strategy and its implementation - with focus on the role of business and public policy information-sharing, in delivering a new era in Canada-Africa trade and investment.
