As we anticipate a full house in Toronto, we are once again pleased to welcome online attendees, who will have the ability to participate, at no charge, over three days on the theme of Accelerating Canada-Africa Trade and Investment: People, Partnerships and Policies, from 10-12 October 2023.

Commencing with opening remarks by Prime Minister Trudeau by video on Day 1 (10 October), our Opening Ceremony will welcome leaders in-person from the public and private sectors, including keynote addresses by The Hon. Mary Ng (Minister of Export Promotion, International Trade and Economic Development) and Joe Lombard, Global Managing Director, Metals, Hatch.
Day 2 (11 October) includes industry leaders such as Bernadette Mpundu, Coordinator of the Chamber of Mines, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Chris McLean of Stonechair Capital on Energy, as well the Financing Panel: comprising Isabela Nyoko, Regional Manager, Mining Finance, Ecobank Zimbabwe, Alan Friedman, Chairman, Osino Resources Inc, Wayne Floreani, President, MineAfrica Inc., Thedious Kasaira, Managing Director, Imara Securities, Zimbabwe.
Our Day 3 (12 October) we explore partnerships and cutting-edge insights, including a conversation with Chief Jerry Asp (Founding Member and former President, Tahltan Nation Development Corporation), a Special Invitation-only session with Deputy Prime Minister Vital Kamerhe of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, a briefing on the latest Economic Freedom of the World Report by The Fraser Institute, hosted by MineAfrica Inc, as well as insights from academic institutions.
Our Closing Reception on 12 October will see Todd Burns, CEO of Cypher Environmental, take the floor, to close out three days of impactful programming with a case study in environmental excellence.
